MacGourmet touch 1.0.2 Submitted to App Store

I've submitted 1.0.2 to Apple, typical turnaround has been 5 days or so. It includes bug fixes for the following:
  • - The "+ icon can now be tapped to add a new shopping list item.

  • - When editing a new item, the blinking cursor now shows that an editing session has been started.

  • - Shopping list aisle items are now sorted in a case-insensitive manner.

  • - More than one sync per session should be now possible without quitting or leaving the sync tab.

  • - Search now works over all item text fields, instead of just the item names.

  • - New shopping lists now start with a default item, allowing other items to be added without adding a recipe.

  • - Shopping list items now have disclosure buttons that allow the detail to be seen when not editing.

  • - Minor user interface and graphical tweaks for usability.

You should get notified of the update when it's available.

You can touch the plus on a new grocery list but the keyboard does not show up so it just says new item.

Just tap on a field to display the keyboard and start editing...

Is MacGourmet Deluxe an app that I can download to my iphone also?

No, MacGourmet Deluxe is just MacGourmet and the optional plug-ins, redistributed by Mariner Software.

Your solution of just tapping a field does not work. The keyboard never shows up.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I can't seem to reproduce the problem...

So I'm still confused. Can I download the macgourmet app, and will the recipes in the macgourmet deluxe show up from my computer?

I'm loving the ap! I've been using MacGourmet for a year now and the iPhone ap was actually a big reason why I got the phone. It's extremely useful and I'm loving having access to all of my 400 something recipes on the go. The only updates I would love to see in the future would be the ability to rate my recipes on my phone and also to create a shopping list from the page for the recipe rather than having to go into the shopping list tab and find the recipe name from there.

Since this most recent update, my iPhone cannot locate my computer to do the sync. This is the first I've had of the problem. I've tried: deleting MacGourmet from iPhone (and re-adding); restarting MacGourmet; checking preferences to make sure "sharing" is on (it is). I can't seem to figure out the problem! The airport is up and running; no network changes have been made.

@OCD, please send things like this to the support email address, rather than posting here. Did you just do an update from the store? Sometimes updates don't "take" for whatever reason. You might try uninstalling the app, and then reinstalling it to see if that fixes things, because nothing changed in the sync functionality from one version to the next.

When I add new recipes to MacGourmet Deluxe, and then sync with MacGourmet touch, it seems like everything from the desktop databases are copied (again) to the touch, including of course the new recipes. What it doesn't seem to do is actually "sync." Instead, it "one-way copies" the desktop contents to the touch. Am I missing something here?

(Why do I care...I'm caring around 750+ recipes on the touch. When I add one to the desktop {since I can't add one on the touch}, I have to "sync" all 751+ recipes again.)

Michael, great work once again. I have been using MacGourmet almost since inception .. part of my life. The only addition that I did not see suggested is ability to email recipes from the iphone.. Comes up all the time .. have to make a note .. do it when I get home.

Thanks again for the wonderful apps.
