Looking for MacGourmet Universal Binary Testers

A version of MacGourmet that runs on both "older" PowerPC Macs and the new Intel-based Macs is almost ready for testing. I'd like to have other people try it out before it's officially released though, to make there aren't any remaining issues.

To be a tester, please use the "Send Feedback" menu item in the Help menu of MacGourmet to send a message to support. I'm looking for people with the new Intel Macs, but people with PowerPC Macs would be useful too. It'd also be great if I could find some Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) users as well.

As with any test software, make sure that you backup your database before trying it out. I don't forsee any problems, but it's always better to be safe than to be sorry.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

If it helps, I would be happy to help you as a beta tester.

I run today MacGourmet with more than 8000 recipes on a Powerbook G4 17", OSX 10.4.5 5recipes are in French)

Most probably in 2 months, I will have the new iMac/Intel.

As I will be retired in 5 months, I will have lots of time. If you need someone to translate (localize ?) MacGourmet into French, I will be happy to help you.

Regards

Francois
