MacGourmet Deluxe is the Top Ten Reviews Top Rated Recipe App!

"MacGourmet Deluxe is among the most well-known kitchen software programs on the market. Many other programs even let users import recipes from MacGourmet, presumably to allow people with the program share recipes with less fortunate friends who have lower-quality programs. From its simple user interface and drag and drop capability to its smart lists and highly advanced search options, MacGourmet offers everything a cook could want and more in one program. MacGourmet’s advanced features, combined with its ease of use, made it our top choice among the Mac recipe software we reviewed."

And it's only going to get better... You can read the full review here.

Looking for Some Brave Souls for MacGourmet 3 Beta Testing...

Greetings! Well it's that time again, time to get ready for the next version of MacGourmet, version 3! I'm looking for some current version 2 users to give the new version a spin. If you're interested, please send the following information to macgourmet [at] advenio.com with a subject of "MacGourmet 3 Beta":

  1. The version of Mac OS X you're using

  2. The number of recipes that are in your My Recipes list

  3. A feature you are really hoping to find in the new version

Please note that version 3 is going to require Mac OS X 10.5 or later. More details on pricing, upgrades, etc. are coming soon...

Thanks!

Please pardon the dust...

Please forgive the odd format of the blog at the moment. A new site is currently under development, but Blogger recently forced all of us that were using their service onto their servers (instead of letting us maintain our own files). On top of that, they now force us to include the "nav bar" at the top of the page as well, which sort of throws off the formatting of the page. So, until the new site is ready to be rolled out, there will be a little "dust" around here that should be cleaned up soon.

Food & Wine, Cook's Illustrated Web Site Importers Updated

Just updated the web site importers for Food & Wine and Cook's Illustrated. The Food & Wine importer was completely rewritten for their latest changes, and the Cook's Illustrated importer fixes image import. You can download both from the Web Site Importer page on MacGourmet.com.
